REVIEWING HYDRAULIC CALCULATIONS

In this series we talk about the hydraulic calculation review process. We look at the purpose, responsibilities, and delivery of hydraulic calculations from an Engineering Review and AHJ's perspective. We estimate the flow and pressure in an example, review a set of hydraulic calculations, and end with a checklist for a thorough hydraulic calculation review process.

Our objectives include:

  1. Understand the hydraulic calculation delivery and review process.
  2. Be introduced to the relevant concepts during the review of hydraulic calculations.
  3. Gain resources to support a thorough review of hydraulic calculations.
